I am a passionate leader and have devoted my professional journey to a profound purpose — to enhance the quality of life for people and the planet. I am an environmentalist and a humanist. As a versatile force in the corporate and nonprofit worlds, I have donned various hats, serving as a CEO, business leader, board member, technical expert, management consultant, and professional engineer. I am fortunate as my career has unfolded as a remarkable tapestry of experiences, far from the ordinary.

Through my professional work, I have traversed over 50 countries. I also lived abroad for more than 12 years, immersing myself in diverse cultures—from Belgium and The Netherlands to The Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, and Brazil. Now, having spent over a decade at the helm of three different organizations, I am focused on consolidating my broad skill set and wealth of experiences to support other leaders and organizations. My aspiration for Catapult For Change is to leverage my expertise to assist clients in overcoming challenges, unlocking their potential, and collaboratively launching innovative ideas that foster success.

I am a compassionate advocate and champion for businesses that have a positive impact on people and the planet. In my most recent role, I was the Lead Executive (CEO) of B Lab Global where I led a nonprofit network that is transforming the global economy to benefit all people, communities, and the planet through the certification of B Corps. 

Prior to B Lab, I was the CEO of Water For People, global Water Business Group Executive at Arcadis, and a preeminent water expert at Jacobs (formerly CH2M). Over the years, I was responsible for budgets ranging from $20 million to $450 million. In these roles I committed myself to ensuring millions had access to quality water services. I oversaw substantial engineering programs, and contributed to the design and implementation of numerous noteworthy water infrastructure projects globally. I achieved a pinnacle in my career in 2020 when I was recognized as one of the select few professional engineers that have contributions significant enough to the engineering profession to be inducted into the National Academy of Engineering.

Beyond my professional accomplishments, my interests encompass coaching CEOs and leadership teams, advocating for the incorporation of wellbeing practices into workplace culture and daily life, championing JEDI (justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion) principles, nurturing high-performing multicultural teams, and providing mentorship to individuals committed to catalyzing social change and excelling in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) professions.

My professional journey includes collaborating with various executive and team coaches throughout my career for my own professional development. I am applying the skills I acquired, coupled with my extensive experience, to offer valuable coaching support to others. In addition, I am a Certified Coach through the Coach Training Alliance.

Outside of work, I am an explorer and curious learner. I am happy when discovering the richness of Colorado nature or venturing into different corners of the world alongside my husband and two boys. I find joy in many activities including gravel and ultra-cycling, training my dogs in agility and tricks, practicing yoga, cooking, and indulging in the pleasures of a good book.

I am active in these two partnerships as a freelance consultant: 

• As an Executive Consultant with Marion Street Capital, a management consulting firm that provides financial resources needed for achieving scale, data drivers for performance, and sales tools for growth and product-market fit. 

• As a Principal with ExecHQ, a C-suite consulting firm providing executives to lend a "fresh eye" on a business challenge, support executive teams, or lead an executive team on a fractional or part-time basis.

In addition, I have a robust network of subject matter experts that I can seamlessly integrate into my clients' projects through Catapult For Change as advisors. These advisors include independent consultants, boutique firms, and established consulting companies, ensuring a diverse range of available specialized expertise to enhance and support your initiatives.
